Coastal change management area
The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), defines a coastal change management area as: 'An area identified in plans as likely to be affected by physical changes to the coast, estuaries or tidal rivers, over the next century, through erosion, coastal landslip, permanent inundation or coastal accretion."
